Board

Firefly Board is Adobe's canvas for AI-powered creative exploration. When I joined, the foundation was there but the experience was hard to navigate, hard to scale, and out of step with where AI tools were heading. I came in to rethink the framework.

Problem

The team's first framework established a foundation, but the experience was complex and difficult to scale. Users faced too many panels and steps, the system was not extensible enough to align with Adobe's unified framework, and the UI was unintuitive for AI-era users. I helped the team refine the framework to improve usability, scalability, and clarity. The refined framework improved usability and established a solid foundation for building extensible features over time.

Whiteboard

Before anything goes on screen, it goes on the wall. Whiteboarding lets me map the full flow, find the gaps, and make sure the story holds together end to end.

Person sitting on couch working on laptop

High fidelity UI

Build from existing patterns whenever possible. But when something genuinely new is needed, I design it from the ground up. The prompt bar was one of those moments.

Anatomy

A good framework needs a clear skeleton. I define a core anatomy early, not to be rigid, but to keep the system focused and consistent as it grows.

Motion

Motion is not decoration. It makes the UI feel responsive, friendly, and alive. I prototype multiple motion prototypes to find the right rhythm before anything gets handed off.
